What is an RSS feed?
The acronymn RSS has been used to used to abbreviate a few different phrases. The one most appropriate for our implementation is Real Simple Syndication. An RSS feed is simply a text file that contains the news from an organization and can be read by many different software applications called news aggregators. This allows you to read the news or get updates from dozens of websites all at once without ever having to open your web browser. The Walker is using RSS to distribute our daily events listings and webcast archives.

What software can I use?
There are several calendar applications that support the iCal format. The following programs have been tested with our feed. Please note we provide an option to download the .ics file for calendar applications that do not use the webcal links but can access the file via http.
