Everyone can be an architect or designer with the help of Google SketchUp, a free software program for creating 3-D forms. In this workshop, kids and parents or caregivers will work together to learn basic modeling skills and undertake a project that answers the question, "What's your ideal hangout?" Led by designer Adam Jarvi. Computers are provided. For tickets or more information, call 612.375.7600 (online ticketing is not available for this program). Space is limited; early registration is encouraged.
This program, part of the Walker Art Center's Raising Creative Kids Initiative, is made possible by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services.
