Walker After Hours celebrates the opening of The Quick and the Dead, an exhibition that surveys art with the mystical power to re-enchant the everyday world without noticeably changing it. Join us to celebrate the exhibition and to socialize with conceptual art loving fans.

Friday, April 24th
Doors open at 9 pm
Music: 9:30 to11:30 pm DJ Leonardo in the Cargill Lounge
Music: 10:00 to 11:45 pm To Kill a Petty Bourgeoisie in Gallery 8
Films: 9:30 and 10:45 Screenings of 52N, Powers of 10, and Crossroads (49 minute run time) in the Cinema
Art Making: 9:15to 11:30 pm Scientific art experiments in the Art Lab
All evening: Cash bars, complimentary snacks, free Loomstate clothing item courtesy of Target, Party People Pictures, galleries open, Walker Shop open

12 Midnight
After After Hours performance of John Cage’s Organ2/ASLSP at the Basilica of Saint Mary. Free shuttle bus runs continually between the Walker and the Basilica from 11:30 pm and 1:30 am.

Tickets: 612.375.7600 or purchase online. New members receive one free party ticket (or other premiums) for joining, while supplies last. $7 event parking is in effect during the party in the Vineland Place ramp.
