Art-making for the Entire Family: Profile in Paint

Using an overhead projector, oil pastels, and watercolor paints, transform your own profile into a wash of colorful brushstrokes.
Art-making for the Entire Family: 4-Part Portrait
10 am – 3 pm
Combine different media to make images about things you like to do, your favorite season, your family, and your hopes for the future. Led by artist-instructor Melinda McCannell-Unger.
Film: Because You're Gorgeous by Brent Dawes

Watch how one warthog’s vanity gets the better of him in this animated short. 2007, DVD, 5 minutes.
Gallery Activity: Famous Faces

Take a trip through the exhibition Live Forever: Elizabeth Peyton with a gallery activity sheet filled with drawing, writing, and seek and find activities related to the artists’ paintings.
Family Photobooth: Caught in Color
11 am – 2 pm
Get your family photo taken in front of a colorful backdrop then see it online on the Walker’s Flickr account.
